Official COVID-19 update

The news around the world are not looking up. At the time of writing, the world has just over half a million of confirmed COVID-19 cases. But you didn’t come here for news. You came for the official COVID-19 update regarding Crazy Island Festival. You came to find out where were we and what we are doing, didn’t you?

There are a lot of question marks regarding this pandemic. Even though it doesn’t seem to be especially deadly among the younger generations, it is very contagious. Now, we are not doctors, we are mad people who love parties. But with how things were looking, it became more and more apparent that partying should be put on hold this summer. Not on our watch.

As of March 27, after a lot of careful considerations, we are happy to announce that Crazy Island Festival is still on the schedule. Nothing should be able to stop the madness, so we are not going to let this pandemic start doing it. You are still invited to join us in Ludbreg, on 7th and 8th of August, to experience the madness first hand. The question is, are you up for the challenge?

We will, as always, keep you posted with the newest of news. Nevertheless, please watch yourself and #stayhome during these rough times. Take a break and spend some time with your loved ones (but at a distance) now, so we could all party in the summer together. The very last thing we want to do is to have to write another official COVID-19 update, but with much sadder news inside of it. Let’s work together and put Crazy Island Festival on the map as the epicentre of madness, craziness and great fun. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram, where we will communicate all other important updates with you, our crazy audience.

We will continue with the reveals early next week, so keep a close eye out on the festival lineup. Stay safe, stay crazy and, as always, succumb to madness.

Entering the madness: Vic Damazi

CIF Lineup 2020. - Vic Damazi

We are keeping strong here. Entering the madness, Crazy Island Festival presents Vic Damazi!

Bringing our boys back from the foreign lands with this one. Born in Croatia, now living in Stuttgart, Vic Damazi started firing the audience up in 2008. Playing in the local club “Anna” is where his career began. He would entertain hundreds during summers, quickly becoming a resident DJ. From that first step, almost 12 years ago, he has already reached immeasurable heights for some.

He played in some of the best clubs in the world, as classified by DJ Mag. Clubs like Noa and Kalypso on Zrće Beach in Croatia, as well as having residency in Rocks Club on Zrće Beach, made him very popular on the coast. He was a resident DJ in Rocks Club for three years, from 2016 until 2018, when he decided he needed new challenges. We, as well as most other people in the EDM world, know Vic Damazi as someone who is recognised by the industry greats. Tujamo, Matroda, Ralvero and Vato Gonzalez are few among many renowned faces on the EDM scene who support Vic Damazi. Not only that, he shared the stage with the likes of Solardo, Cera Alba, Klangkuenstler, Lovra and many others.

Vic Damazi is coming to us on Crazy Island Festival as a seasoned festival performer. He played on Spring Break Festival, Hideout Festival, Fresh Island Festival, Sonus Festival, BiH Color Festival, SICKYRAVEci Fest and many other festivals all over Europe. He also has international experience in clubs, having played in Sweden, Poland, Serbia and the UK.

Crazy Island Festival is very happy to have Vic Damazi join our crazy 2020 lineup. We know he will fire you up with his energetic performances when he steps on the stage.

Entering the madness: Nesho

CIF Lineup 2020. - Nesho

A weird virus is not stopping this one. Entering the madness, Crazy Island Festival welcomes Nesho!

A Croatian DJ from Ivanec, we can’t get enough Nesho’s wild, energetic performances. He is slowly making his way into the top of Croatian DJ lineup. We had the chance to enjoy his mixes in various clubs all over Croatia, but Nesho also has experience on the big stage. Straight from the 2019 Ultra Music Europe main stage, Nesho is coming to Ludbreg to fire all of you up next.

We are very happy to have him join our 2020 lineup. Especially now, with the outbreaks and cancellations everywhere – Nesho is still playing strong. Having finished a DJ academy, he is not only talented, but has a degree to show it. Although sadly not very known to the public just yet, Nesho is making sure he is promoting EDM music whenever he can.

Last year, he organised an electronic music festival in Ivanec, Xmusic Festival, which became a huge hit. There, we had the chance to dance to beats constructed not only by Nesho, but also Kosta Radman, Radiology and Timo G. You crazy people will literally be moved by his performance once he hits the Crazy Island Festival’s main stage.

Time is ticking, and we can’t wait to see Nesho on Crazy Island Festival. We are also looking forward to see what one of the Ultra Music Europe‘s DJ’s has in store for you in Ludbreg. All in all we can’t wait. Could you?

CIF Lineup 2020. - Johnny Costa

A homeboy, entering the madness. Crazy Island Festival welcomes Johnny Costa!

A young, talented DJ from Croatia, we first saw him enter the music scene in 2016. Johnny Costa got inspired when he first saw the Ultra Music Europe festival. He then started on his music path. We can encounter Johnny Costa in plenty of well – known clubs all over Zagreb and Croatia. Boogaloo and Riverside being just the tip of the iceberg. Alongside that, we got a chance to listen to his energetic beats on music festivals across the region. He played on the Colours Festival in Boogaloo, Riverside and Forestland Festival, one of the largest EDM festivals in Croatia.

We saw him share the stage with world-renowned DJ’s. Mark Sixma, Zonderling, Ferreck Dawn, Mauro Picotto, and many others. Although born and raised in Croatia, Johnny Costa also played all over Europe, namely in Slovenia and Czechia. From what we have seen so far, his talents will lead to a bright future for this young DJ.

The main thing we can label Johnny Costa by is his ability to make a crazy atmosphere. Be it in a club or a festival, we have never stopped moving or going crazy during one of his shows. We love hearing him turn the house genres around to fit his styles. You crazy people can certainly expect a great party on Crazy Island Festival, once Johnny Costa gets on the stage.
